Crop Insurance App comes under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. It is owned by the Department of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare, Govt. of India. Crop Insurance App is one of the most prominent platforms for farmers by providing immense benefits. The application provides services related to agriculture-insurance to farmers. Through this digital platform, a farmer can register him/herself and get insurance of crop(s) being cultivated for Kharif and Rabi in a hassle-free manner. Farmer has to register with basic details and select crop season, create Insurance policy for the crop. App provides facility to insure multiple crops for a particular season. A farmer can also calculate Insurance premium before applying for the Crop insurance. Farmer can intimate Crop-loss by filling a form with incident details and upload the actual image of crop-loss to verify the information provided. Facility to track application status on every step is provided. A farmer can view his policy details and download own policy in PDF format.
